now hear me out when i say this album is bad. like some of my friends will trash talk rappers like Eminem and this album truly shows what hip hop has gone to. his voice is annoying but what i have a problem with is that his lyrics are either all over the place or talk about the same thing every other average rapper would. it isn't bad because of the production but because of uzi himself. This album truly shows what hip hop has gone to. The tracks with the guest features (Neon Guts with Pharrell and UnFazed with the Weeknd) and XO Tour Llif3 are the only decent tracks here. The high-hats and distorted bass kill the ethereal synths when it's not being aggressively repetitive. None of the two mixes at all and it just ends up being an autotune and EDM-trap nightmare. Uzi's appeal is mixing cloud rap with harsh trap rap, and the results are a mess. But the major kneecap in this album is the production. His flow averages out to being basic and most of his words and rhymes range from generic money and hoes anthems to cringeworthy when he tries to be "real".

While Uzi's voice is kind of annoying, he's just not a very good MC. However I decided since the entire thing was available to stream on Soundcloud and you don't have to have a special account to listen to it, I decided why not.

His music was never something on my radar and I was not really planning on listening to it. While Uzi's voice is kind of I had nothing against Lil Uzi Vert really besides that he has an annoying voice. I had nothing against Lil Uzi Vert really besides that he has an annoying voice. Bottom line, it may not be your cup of tea but it's almost impossible to not have a song that you keep on repeat. Feelings Mutual and For Real are honorable mentions. Neon Guts, The Way Life Goes, XO Tour Lif3 (obviously), Dark Queen, and Sauce it Up are highlights here. The intro sucks and Early 20 Rager is questionable (but undeniably hype) but overall, there aren't songs here that I would really consider complete garbage. Is it his best project? Not really but I can't say yes or no because it really depends on the type of mood you're in when you listen to Uzi as I feel all 3 of his projects are different parts in his story. He has strong and weak moments as all artists do but his strongest moments are mostly when he sings/raps about real life and goes toward the outer edge of hip hop. It's far from bad but it has to grow on you because it's not like LUV is Rage at all really. Is it his best project? Not really but I can't say I actually give it a 7-8 but the average is 6.7 and that's too low for this album.
